Physicians who practice medicine within San Luis Obispo or Santa Barbara County and hold a degree of Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy and hold an unrevoked and unsuspended license to practice medicine and surgery issued by the Medical Board of California or Board of Osteopathic Examiners of the State of California are eligible to apply for membership in the Central Coast Medical Association. Concurrent membership in the state organization, the California Medical Association, also is required.
